To go a soalin’ (a.k.a. soulin’) is to travel from door to door singing for soal cakes. The tradition and song date back to the Middle Ages in England. While historically associated with All Saints Day, the song took on a new meaning when Peter, Paul and Mary recorded it in 1962. We think you’ll agree it captures the essence of what all of us associate with today’s holiday season.
Campfire Boyz Foundation has enjoyed your support in 2012 and feels it’s time to give something back. We hope you enjoy our version of A Soalin’. The downloads are free. No strings attached.
May the spirit of giving and a feeling goodwill toward all creatures warm your heart and hearth at this special time of year.
Happy Holidays,
